This 8-week series is a detailed investigation of the body with the intention of immersing you with the intricacies of the Shi Ba Shi Taiji Qigong form.
Your body will be moved into the subtle and wholly healing aspects of qigong by drawing on tools such as myofascial release, structural integrity, proper weight loading, and targeted strength building.
Weaving meridian theory from medical qigong with meditative somatic experiencing, you will further understand how this ancient movement practice of qigong is relevant in cultivating everyday peace, navigating and harmonizing your body’s holding patterns on a physical, mental, and emotional level.
