Once upon a time, (long before social media) when the night sky above was at its darkest, or during times of collective challenge, we came together to create our own light, warming ourselves by the communal hearth.

Together in our honesty and vulnerability, we could hold each other up, inspire each other, help each other keep a sense of laughter and lightness amongst hardship or uncertainty, share, guide, create strength and resiliency; and rekindle our inner flames through story, sharing, eating, laughing, meditation and ceremony.

If this idea nourishes you — Come, gather and warm yourself by the hearth.
We invite you to bring your honesty, bring your rawness, bring your tears, bring your laughter, bring your compassion, bring you stories, bring your silence, bring your bright light hearts, bring your pie (pie is wholly welcome) and join us for a nourishing experience of community.

This is an opportunity to show up for each other as we are, even if it’s messy. It is often the messiest parts of us that long most for the safety, acceptance, warmth and laughter of the light we share and create together.

This gathering is not intended to be for grieving, though that may show up.
It is not intended to be therapy, though it may be therapeutic.
Think of it as a refuge amongst the ups and downs, the celebrations and shit storms of our lives, where with open arms and open hearts, we welcome each other equally and without judgement, as the warm light of the hearth does for us all.

There will be storytelling, light ceremony and meditation, tea and time to simply gather, eat, talk, mingle and be as we are. (And we mentioned pie is welcome right?)

This is a pot luck, please bring simple, easy to pack snacks and a plate as there will be no place to do dishes. ( Think of it as a ceremony of cleaning and being responsible for our own shit — inner and outer.)
Tea is provided. Cups aren’t!

This is a loosely guided event, not the type of party to be fashionably late at, so please arrive on time 🙂
