On-Camera Acting + Demo Reel Material

with Graham McDonald & Ramsey Fendall

Tuesday evenings 7-10pm (June 4 – July 23) at the 4 Corners Community Collective space at 1508 Haultain St.

If you want a class that will develop your on-camera presence using your own unique skill sets, this is that class! You will get 6 weeks of on-camera acting classes and then the last 2 weeks dedicated to developing a demo reel scene that will be shot to professional standards.

This class will start each week with a series of ensemble, focus, and improvisation exercises that will set the table for the on-camera scene study work that follows.

We will work with students at their individual experience level, and so all levels are welcome. Script work will change regularly, and will focus on character development through, dialogue, monologues, and action. Post-shoot viewing sessions and group-led constructive critique will take place in each class, offering students a safe environment to grow in their work.

You will develop performances that are focused, natural and spontaneous, while fostering brave on-camera choices that will have you standing out from the crowd.

EARLY BIRD PRICING: $395 before Wednesday May 21. $435 for late registrations after that date. Secure your seat by e-transfer to grahamseytheory@gmail.com

We prefer small class sizes so as each student gets more time on camera – space is limited. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds or make-up classes.

Testimonials
“Graham has an unconventional head-to-tail approach to acting — he is able to create a teaching environment that feels safe to explore one’s individuality while celebrating the value of the team dynamic. Graham is one of the most caring and insightful teachers I have ever worked with.” Fletcher Donovan, A Million Little Things (ABC), Supernatural (FX Network), Unspeakable (CBC/Sundance TV), The Man in the High Castle (Amazon Studios), DRINK, SLAY, LOVE (Lifetime)

“Graham McDonald’s style is like no other. He has the precision of a surgeon in his direction, and with his hands-on style, has the ability to completely re-route a scene, leaving the actors with a depth of understanding of themselves and their characters.”

Leanne Allen, Actor, Victoria

“Ramsey is that rare combination of working filmmaker and natural teacher. We have collaborated on a variety of film projects — fiction and documentary — and whether it is directing, behind the camera or in the edit suite, he is uniquely able to combine long experience with a sense of craft and creative flare. Ramsey is also able to distill his immense knowledge of the many technical aspects of filmmaking, and not only put it to work, but patiently teach it by example to those lucky enough to be working with him.”

— Elizabeth Giamatti, A Woman Like Me (producer and director), All Is Bright(producer), Cold Souls (producer), Pretty Bird (producer)
