Women have been meeting in circles for millennia as a powerful force for community healing, Self-enquiry and honouring the cyclic forces that govern our world + cosmos.

The Circle has been created as an offering for anyone who identifies with the experience of Womanhood to celebrate & explore the deepest parts of ourselves, to be seen, heard within a sacred space for us to surrender as one. We will be meeting to honour ourselves & one another through ritual, meditation, embodiment, breathwork, oracle cards, intention and a safe space to share + resonate as one.

The preliminary structure of the circle is as follows (subject to change depending on the energies of the group and themes arising within the circle):

6:15 – Door opens

6:30 – Space clearing, intention sharing and opening meditation

6:45 – Breathwork

7:00 – Intuitive + embodied movement

7:30 – Guided meditation/visualization

8:00 – Journal prompts

8:15 – Oracle cards/Reflection

8:30 – Sharing and goodbyes x

WHAT TO BRING?

The workshop space has some blankets and yoga mats, however, it’s always best if you bring yours as this way you will feel the most comfortable.

COVID19 SAFETY GUIDE

Health and wellness are important to all of us, especially as we transition through the pandemic in this current phase of the BC Restart plan. In order to provide the most nourishing and safe experience for everyone who comes to the space, we all must be willing to be mindful and respectful of others as we all may have varying levels of comfort with the softening of restrictions.

1. Self-Assessment of Health Before The Class. You will be required to answer a health assessment questionnaire on the day of your class. If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, or answer ‘YES’ to any of the pre-screening questions, you will be asked to not attend the class, and to reschedule to a later date. There will be no penalty or fee to reschedule due to the onset of any illness, covid suspected, cold or flu symptoms or otherwise. You can call or text me as soon as possible to let me know you are feeling unwell: 236-562-7746

2. Wearing a Mask – Masks are an individual choice for when we are gathered in the space, seated and apart from each other. If your partner is more comfortable with masks being worn, please honour and respect their decision even if it’s different than yours. Please note, this mandate may be updated as the provincial orders fluctuate and change in the coming weeks and months.

3. Vaccinations – The Reiki Energy School is required to follow the regulations regarding gathering public groups of people indoors, and at this time the BC government says “You don’t have to show proof of vaccination at places [such as] indoor organized events with less than 50 people, except adult sports.”

All about love, connection, and self-appreciation, Sweetpea Loves You: Objects of Affection will showcase original art and limited-edition prints by our roster of 25 early-career artists, as well as a curated collection of women-owned businesses & local makers of Victoria, including fine jewelry, vintage lingerie, ceramics, and personal care products.

Show yourself some love by feasting your eyes on one-of-a-kind works of art, or bring your lover down to pick out something they adore for Valentine’s Day.

The space will be open from 6pm to 9pm Feb. 11, 11am to 6pm Feb. 12th and 13th.

We will follow all COVID protocols and will provide an update to the rules closer to the date.

Sweetpea Gallery respectfully acknowledges our location on the unceded territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We seek to honour and uphold these ongoing relationships to the land and its stewards as we work, grow, and exercise our creativity on these territories.
