YOUR GOLDEN SHADOW: A SPELUNKING EXPEDITION

Excavate the far reaches of your psyche and bring back all the power!

5 Thursdays January 24- February 21 6:30pm- 9:00pm

***This deep and playful voyage will be, with many thanks and much reverence, taking place on the Unceded Territory of the Lekwungen First Peoples. ***

We can walk around feeling like something’s not quite right, disconnected from what’s really true, and experiencing a slight listlessness or even ennui because of it. These days we need everyone at their best, and everyone’s brilliant treasures of generative love at their fingertips, flowing into action. Come gather tools (like compasses and headlamps) for navigating the far regions of your inner most caverns. There, we can find your golden gifts in the shadows, and bring them out into the light of day for the benefit of all (including yourself!).

Tools that will be offered include curated forms of dreamwork, somatic (of the body) awareness practices, movement, mask work, and earth-based meditations + rituals. Throughout the 5 weeks a container will be set for diving deep and unfolding that which is yet to be known. There will be invitations for home and nature practices between classes as well. To be noted, much of the tools and technologies that will be shared come from long lineages of distinct indigenous cultures from various and widespread parts of the world. As a white settler of European decent, the facilitator offers them with great humility and gratitude, and with intention and hope for a more radicalized and just world.

This class is good for folks who are…

  • Peaceful warriors on the journey of personal development
  • Therapists who would like useful, out-of-the-box tools to support their clients
  • Facilitators and Teachers looking for innovative exercises to add to their offerings

Cost for 5 weeks: $145.00

Get your ticket quick! This boat will fill up fast with only 12 seats available 🙂

To Register: email ashleygillies@rogers.com + send $20 e-transfer deposit, or full fee of $145, to same address
